Ayisa and Kutu inn the first picture and the second litter, I had with her in the other pictures, I stopped breeding after that. I think these pictures are really amazing. 

Big babies!  Gambian pouched rats are an exotic that’s slowly been gaining ground in the rodent lovers’ circuit, despite the legal difficulty with keeping and importing them in the US in the past 10 years (they’ve become an invasive pest in Florida).
GP rats are lovely beasts, but they’re not something I could keep up here in the sticks- it’s hard enough bringing a sick norway rat to the vet’s when you know that she knows less about caring for its health than you do, so even if I could afford a GP, I wouldn’t want to risk it dying for lack of good veterinary care.  :(
